Opportunity to attend 12th eSafety Forum Plenary Meeting

Date: 14/9/2009

Titled the “eCall Summit”, the Plenary Meeting will be held on the 29 October 2009 at the EC Premises in Brussels, Belgium.

In addition to running eCall demonstrations during the day, the meeting will also:

• Give an overview of the achievements of the European eCall Implementation Platform (EeIP)
• Provide information about the recent eCall Study (an impact assessment of the introduction of eCall)
• Discuss practical implementation issues:  Member States’ Pilots
• Provide details of the EC eCall Communication: "eCall – Time for Deployment"  
• Consider the outcome of the eSafety Forum task force on the Future of the eSafety Forum.

The deadline for registration for the event is 16 October 2009.
